The Mahaffey Apartment Company, owners and managers of over 8,500 apartment units in Central Florida is looking for Full-time General Maintenance Carpenter Person.

This position is located at our community in Ocala – Carlton Arms of Ocala– off SW 20^th Street just a few miles off SR 200.

Carlton Arms of Ocala provides its residents with luxurious country living within easy range of the city and its excitement.  Carlton Arms is lead by people who have been with the organization since the community started construction – 1997.

General Maintenance Carpenter Person:

If hired, you would be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Carpentry (fence repairs, door replacement, etc.)
• Drywall repair
• Roofing repair
• Exterior painting
• Performance of all general maintenance
• Appliance, Plumbing & Electrical troubleshooting and repair a plus but not required

Job Specifics:

• Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Salary is negotiable depending on experience
• 1 week vacation after one year
• 2 weeks vacation after two years and above
• Discretionary days on an escalating basis up to 7 per year
• Health/Dental Insurance available after 75 days waiting period
• Florida Drivers License required
• Good background required
• 90 day probation period
